Delicious Dream Crepes

Photo: What’s Cooking America

These crepes have been in my step-mother’s family for quite a while now. I made them for breakfast today, and everyone loved them, just like they always do. Now that it’s summer, you can make them for your kids, family, friends, or just yourself! They’re so good, you might just see them in your dreams.

Ingredients

3/4 cup flour

2 tbsp. icing sugar

1 tsp. baking powder

2 beaten eggs

2/3 cup milk

1/3 cup water

2 tsp. vanilla

Directions

1. Mix flour, icing sugar and baking powder together in a medium sized bowl and make a well with your hands.

2. In a small bowl, whisk eggs, milk, water and vanilla together.

3. Add liquid ingredients into the well then mix everything together. Whisk until bubbles form.

These look lovely! Having never tried crepes before, i’m not quite sure where to start – do you have a crepe pan you use, or are you able to pull it off in a standard skillet?

I’ve never made crepes, but can’t wait to try yours with some fresh strawberries!
