Bunny Cake

Just in time for Easter, Kraft’s bunny cake will be a hit at your easter party! All you need is two cakes and a few decorations, and you’re ready to go! This cake is an easy to make dessert that will bring smiles to your guests’ faces. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

Ingredients

2 round white cake layers (9 inch), cooled

2-1/2 cups thawed Cool Whip Whipped Topping, divided

1/4 cup flaked coconut

10 jelly beans

3 gumdrops

10 pieces string liquorice (4inch)

Directions

1. Leave 1 cake whole; cut remaining cake into 3 pieces as shown in diagram. Arrange on large cutting board or platter to resemble a bunny’s head and bow tie, using small amount of Cool Whip to attach pieces to each other.

1. Frost cake with remaining Cool Whip.

1. Sprinkle bow tie with coconut. Decorate cake with remaining ingredients as shown in photo. Keep refrigerated.

    My mother has been making this cake for as long as I’ve been alive. It brings back so many fond memories. Even though I’m a chef I’ll never make it. It just wouldn’t compare.
