Chocolate Marble Cheesecake

Chocolate Marble Cheesecake

This is one of my favorite types of cheesecakes; I ask for it every year for my birthday. I usually ask my mom to make it, but I help. Although, this year, I am going to make it myself. It is rich, creamy and easy to make! I love its texture; it’s great for any occasion!

1 cup graham cracker crumbs

1/4 cup sugar

1/4 cup cocoa

1/4 cup melted butter

3 pkg. cream cheese (250g)

1 cup sugar

3 eggs

2 tsp. vanilla

4 squares of semi sweet baker’s chocolate

4 squares of semi sweet baker’s chocolate

1/4 cup butter

1.Heat oven to 300 degrees farenheit.

2. Mix graham crumbs, sugar, cocoa and melted butter in small bowl. Press onto a springform pan (this is the crust).

3. Beat cream cheese in large mixing bowl until well blended. Add sugar, then add the eggs one at a time on low speed. Add vanilla.

4. Seperate batter into two bowls. Melt the chocolate squares and add to one of the bowls.

5. On the crust, pour batter: start with the white batter and alternate with the chocolate batter. Make a marble design on the top.

6. Bake for 1 hour. Leave in the oven for 1 more hour with the oven turned off. When it is cool, take it out.

7. For the glaze, melt the chocolate and the butter. Cover top and sides of the cheesecake. Refrigerate for 24 hours.
